My week in Toronto is finally coming to an end, and it’s time to go home. So as a last day in town, I decided to go to Toronto’s greatest park : Hyde Park.
If you love nature, this is going to be your favorite place. It’s the perfect place for picnics or peaceful walks. Plus, it’s so beautiful with all the trees and the river that runs near, especially at sunset. Everytime I come to Toronto, I never miss a chance to come here just to wind down from the busyness of the city.
Although, this time I went there for one thing, the Cherry blossoms.
I had never seen them before, but as finally winter went away, the trees started to bloom indicating the imminent arrival of spring. And oh boy have we waited for it to come lol. This year, winter has lasted almost 5 months in Canada, so when we can finally appreciate the sun, with a cool wind and cherry blossoms, we just lay back on the heated grass, hands behind our head, a smile on our faces and enjoy the view.
Because I had never seen them before, I was just like a child going from tree to tree taking a whole bunch of pictures, which resulted into this post.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures I took as much as I enjoyed taking them. As for me, I am off on a hella long ride in bus back to Quebec City, where I’ll be dreaming of all the food and cherry blossoms I’m leaving behind.
